So, I had tickets for Thursday, Saturday and Sunday off NYCC 2017. I woke up that Thursday and the thought of going back into Manhattan again, dealing with the crowds of people all day, triggered a panic/anxiety attack and I just couldn't make myself go to the Con. Didn't have a ticket for Friday, so I spent the day relaxing and preparing for the trip on Saturday.
Unfortunately, when Saturday came I got a call that my daughter's babysitter was sick and she needed someone to watch my grandchildren from 10am to 4pm. Family always comes first with me, so of course I watched the kids. Got to the Con a little after 6pm, checked out a few dealers in the HUGE Dealers Rooms, made it through only half of Artist Alley (where I picked up a sexy Nightwing print and ordered a sketch!) and headed for the Costume Contest at 8pm. I found out that people had registered earlier in the day for decent seats and the room was pretty much full, so I got stuck in the back row, which is why my pics are so bad. Sorry. After that, I watched some JoJo's Bizarre Adventure anime and headed home, falling and hurting my knee as I ran for a bus on the way. Woke up Sunday and that same knee was KILLING me, so I missed the Con on Sunday, too! I was NOT a happy camper, believe me!
So that was my NYCC experience this year. Apologies for those who expected more. I did, too! Wish I could turn back time...

Well, let's try this again, shall we?
After being away from DA for MUCH too long, I'm back with a new resolve and determination to get my page in shape! Some of you may know that I've struggled with depression, anxiety and other illnesses over the years. Well that, and a small heart attack, were the main reasons for my disappearance. But I'm looking forward to getting back here and I have some things that I hope you will enjoy like new ideas and a new direction for my OCs (NOT a reboot! All stories posted so far are still "in canon"! Lol!), ideas for Journal updates and hopefully, some artwork or sketches from NYCC 2017 to post! I might even post some of my own artwork!
Some changes should start within the next week or two, then more definitely by the end of NYCC, so I hope you'll check in and check out what I'm gonna be doing and let me know what you think!

Hi all,

Hope you all had a wonderful and magickal Holiday season! Yes, I believe magic actually exists in this world; you just have to be open to it and look for it.

This is something that I actually intended to write sooner, much closer to the New Year, but "Real Life" got in the way. Sorry about that. But first, I want to publicly and profoundly thank the wonderful and generous for giving me a year's Premium Membership to DA. Yes, a FULL YEAR! I had NO idea until I signed on one day and saw that I had received this gift from her and I was totally surprised! Not only is she a wonderful writer and creator of cool characters (you should really check out her stuff on her page!), but obviously a generous person as well. So thank you once again, dear friend; YOU ROCK! Now if only I could figure out all the cool new things I can do with it...! LOL!

Now, this is not meant IN ANY WAY to slight or offend those of you who have suppported me this past year by commenting, Friending, Favoriting, llama-ing (is that a word? Oh, well...) or Watching me or my work in the past year or at any time since I joined DA. I honestly and seriously appreciate each and every one of you. Even if I don't get to respond to your comments or Notes in a timely fashion all the time, please don't take that as my being uncaring or unappreciative. I just have a lot going on with my family and personal life at times, as well as my volunteer work,  and all of that must sometimes take priority away from my computer, that's all. You, and your interest in my writing and OCs especially, mean the world to me. If I could, I would keep in touch with each and every one of you every day to see how you're all doing and comment on all of your work,  but that is, unfortunately impossible. There are old friends here that I haven't had time to keep up with on any kind of regular basis and I regret that VERY much, but it doesn't mean I care any less about them and their works.

Anyway, I just want to say, as this New Year begins, that I hope you all, Friends and Watchers alike, have an AWESOME, HEALTHY, SAFE and PROSPEROUS 2014. You all have brought me joy and happiness in my time here on DA and I thank you for that. For my part, I will try to do better in the coming year to keep in touch with and encourage all of you. But PLEASE, if you are going through something in your personal life, or if there is something that you want me to take a look at on your DA page, LET ME KNOW either in a comment or a Note! I am trying to check my DA page on a daily basis now and will gladly help if I can or check out whatever you want me to see, okay?

Hi everyone!

I hope you all had a wonderful and very Happy Thanksgiving! I had a pleasant day, chatting with friends in the morning while watching the parade on TV (love to watch the Broadway shows perform!) and then spending time with family at dinner. This year it was a bit strange hitting the Black friday sale on Thursday night (I HATE that idea!), but had to try and get a PS4 for my nephew, so didn't have much choice. Thankfully, I managed to get one, so it was worth braving the insanity.

Anyway, in honor of my OC, I am declaring this week Pol L'Greve week! LOL! Not only have I just posted a new, VERY sexy commissioned piece from my buddy in my Gallery, but also a short solo story written by me about Pol's time as a sports superstar before he met up with Grel and Ling and an awesome rendering of him by another artist, the amazing !

In the very near future, I will be posting a sexy Nightwing commission by and I'm also expecting another Pol pic from and a pic of my OC Grel from as well. Plus, I'm almost finished with the final chapter of "The Horror Left Behind" featuring my OC, Ling, and have just started on a current story of Pol, Ling and Grel together that will begin their ongoing adventures!
